Clare Bronfman indicted in NXIVM cult, is still at it - having her followers commit cyber crimes - in the name of self-help. With the contributions of computer scientist Julian David Bergquist & Wisdom Systems

TCP and UDP are protocols used for sending information packets (in this case: malware). Cyber criminals and NXIVM cult members are using this technology to redirect updates from your service provider (your Android Carrier; Microsoft updates when PC) to be downloaded from their servers. As well as return small packets containing your key information to their data centers. This breach is able to bypass security because it seems like a friendly handshake and standard information sharing. Having your personal data be turned into packets and submitted to their Wisdom Systems; having updates downloaded from Harmony (when Microsoft already sued Harmony over this data corruption - see Microsoft Corp vs Harmony Computers & Electronics Inc - E.D.N.Y. 1994) is more than criminal fraud.
Wisdom Systems is designed to support Clare Bronfman's paranoid need for control, and is also a system where her followers can feel both powerful as well as indignant towards anyone who disagrees with them. Predominantly though, this is part of a racketeering system, where their members are able to earn monetary income for the data they are stealing.
A body collective who claim to be coaches, practitioners, health professionals, as well as those interested in health and wellbeing. The NXIVM case fails to be over, as the legacy lives on with these abusive cult members, who sign NDA's, then proceed to stalk, breach, steal, lie, and harass, innocent individuals who tell them they're uninterested in any of their self-help modules.

I was invited (given an ultimatum actually) to attend The Forum, Landmark Worldwide, in 2009 by Jim Mauer (iTunes) and his wife, Kimberly Howell, who are both alcoholics. Also by her sister, Jeannie Howell, who has seemed to have severe deficits in logic & critical thinking, having body-dismorphia, and issues with sex and relationships since she was a teen. This is indicative of Borderline Personality Disorder, which can be produced when a child experiences inappropriate attention from a male figure during key develpment years. Jeannie had issues with a man outside the home when she was young. This negatively shaped her, and all of her subsequent relationships. She was recruited by this cult, and dragged her sister and brother-in-law into it.
I was raised in a loving LDS home, with an educated father and entrepreneurial, investment management family. Raised in a wholesome environment, the problems of Jeannie, Kimberly, Jim, were foreign to me. As was the structure, content, and participants of LMWW.
At The Forum in San Francisco, I was more than shocked at what was occuring. So much so that I WALKED OUT, feeling sick to my stomach and deeply perturbed. It was more than inappropriate.
The strategies LMWW uses to ellicit personal information under the guise of "therapy", would cost them their license if they were registered professionals instead of "coaches" (an unregulated profession). They were asking attendants to share detailed accounts of trauma, which were NOT innocent things like a child might say at a slumber party. The content consisted of stories which I knew should only be discussed in a private room with a licensed therapist; or inside a police department's interview room. The content made my skin crawl and self-defenses go up. The people in that room where far from normal. Something was seriously wrong.
LMWW additionally makes a demand that you solicit your friends & family. This was a big red-flag to me. Traditional business owners know that MLM is frowned upon at it's best; and illegal and corrupt at it's worst. I had been warned about MLM's by one of my family's friend's, an investor, who was a high profile individual in our community, when I was just 18. As I was later able to make numerous healthy investments, I continually felt grateful for his mentoring as it allowed me to say NO to bad deals and individuals willing to violate Labor Laws, as MLM's do. (Yet say they don't; trying to get around it through consulting and ownership agreements. There is still training and brand accountability - so they are violating Labor Laws, W2 vs 1099, or standard Franchise Agreements with Profit Sharing clauses - the MLM is illegal.)
Furthermore, the practice of enrolling others is BAD FORM.
Sales, when healthy, is about relationship building and positive, appropriate matches.

I walked out in 2009.
I left, shaking my head at these dsyfunctional employees who were hurting innocent bystanders that were there at the request of the person who invited them.
Yet, healthy boundaries includes holding a perspective that others are allowed to believe what they want.
So I walked away and forgot about them. I removed myself, expecting that to be the end of it.
They however, did not want to let me go.

In August 2017, I was helping my family with an estate sale and acquisition, when a LMWW member, Michelle H, bought an antique from my mom. She liked me, and wanted to meet me for lunch. I said yes. She ended up talking about Landmark Worldwide. She talked about Narcissistic Abuse. She talked about Alcohol and Cannabis.
Her predominant interests were all red flags to me, and she was clearly suffering, a significant addict, deep in her usage patterns. No thank you. (Please go get some help, you can be free of this.)

December 2017, another LMWW member, John Morningstaur, bought a Seagate external drive from me. (My dad used to work for Seagate; before being hired at Quantum and leading the Americas and Eurasia.)

Morningstaur (not his original name), introduced me to [Julian] David Bergquist.
Bergquist hired me to get his accounting current April 2018. He also wanted me to attend The Forum by LMWW. He stated that he wanted me to be able to work with his other clients, and that I needed to go the The Forum to understand their language. He refused to take my NO.
He kept pressing, testing various different scripts sales people use in over-coming objections; which I was onto and they failed to work. His 2-year old narcissistic rant, of pestering the mother until she is worn out, so that he gets to put the skittle in his mouth; after 2 months, I was worn-down and agreed to go, so that he would stop.

THE LESSON I LEARNED FROM THIS: If people fail to take your NO the first time, stop and re-evaluate yourself and see what your contribution is to make your second NO stick. If the person keeps pressing, they are behaving on the abuse spectrum (look up any Power & Control Wheel), failing to listen and honor your rights as a person. Walk away.

I ended up going to The Forum with the personal reframe that I love business conferences (which I do like them); AND that my main objections about LMWW remained true.
"A man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still." Dale Carnegie.
This is a powerful line in any negotiation. It's important in change-work. It is critical when insulating one-self against manipulation.

When I walked in, the leader said: "Hey everybody, there is a celebrity here."
I had entered late. Everyone else was already sitting. I was the only person upright, besides her.
I scanned the room, looking for a familiar celebrity face, or otherwise an individual who gave off that aura. No celebrities in the room. She was talking about me.
I am NOT a celebrity though. Yes, I used to work with some. I have never been one.
I was a CEO, and publicly spoke 2011-2012. I invested in a brand and hired Celebrity Chefs. The talented experts were the Celebrities.
Her statement to the room made me think she was ignorant, uneducated and inaccurate. She later on disclosed that she had limited eductation; that she sufferred from extreme body dismporhia, bulimia, and that she was a physical trainer. Also that she wanted to be a celebrity herself. I later saw her on a Weight Watchers commercial.
Her statement to the group while she was on stage, made me feel put in the spotlight and my privacy jeopardized.
I felt UNCOMFORTABLE.
How it starts is how it shall end.

The rest of the forum was nearly identical to the first. I took notes, even though I was told I could not. They seemed to leave me to my own devices this time (the first Forum, the did NOT). This Forum, I seemed beyond reproach. Old enough and with enough leadership experience to know that how I held myself, and my standards, mattered more than anything they could say or try to implement. I think they were intimidated, and wanted me to like them; to enroll me. I was bored, exhausted from auditing Julian's accounting, and also, very curious to discover exactly which therapy modality and neuro-linguistic programming technique they were using to manipulate others.
They continued to use a combination of modalities; utilizing several NLP structures with Zen ideas. "Chunking-up" to general universal truths, so that the subconsious manipulative programming slips in easier.
People with secure attachment and logic & critical thinking skills / training, are less susceptible and/or immune to this type of abuse.
The trick in their tacts, is actually within the linguistics. As I have multiple masters, and over 1,500 hours training under doctor's, LMWW failed to be able to pull one over on me.
They failed to obtain consent in advance for some of the manipulation tacticts they use.
Some of these strategies, ARE effective, however a licensed Psychologist must gain consent from the patient BEFORE he uses the technique. LMWW never did.
That specific technique is NOT in their terms nor fine print, and is IMPROPER to be used without dual party signed consent in advance or at the time of offering.
If they were licensed therapists, they would lose their license.
Instead, they are unregulated coaches, abusing the system.
The Forum did NOT feel so bad as what I had imagined from those horror stories of Tom Cruise's cult, locking people in the room.
It DID feel monitored.
It WAS unethical. I also noticed that a lot of people in the room were talking about Narcissism, Kidnapping, and Drug & Alcohol addictions.
It made me think that the particpants were honestly suffering deeply.
I felt compassion for them.
I was also a fish out of water.
It made me love my family even more. (West's and Britton's, I love you guys to the moon and back!)
I personally made the association that Bergquist had wanted me in this room because HE was an addict, and as a result of his dsyfunction, he had no understanding of how normal healthy families modeled behavior and communicated.
He only had two modes: Addiction, and Landmark.
I left The Forum again, feeling even more concerned about the categories of people LMWW attracts: Addicts, Bullimics, Borderline Personalities, and Narcissistic Personalities.

What happened next was a contract violation by Bergquist. He asked me to refrain from reporting something that turned up in my audit. I gave him a hard NO and exited. He hired a CPA to finish and file.

Unfortunately, he refused to let go.
This is part of the LMWW programming, to hold on to and to harass, which is bizarre to me.
Healthy people honor your NO, and allow you your own free will and free thinking.
This is our unalienable human and also constitutional right.
I obtained a restraining order #TFL18-7129, which the Judge was more than happy to give. He was alarmed by Bergquist and perceived him to be dangerous.

After the fact, I discovered that Bergquist had ties to NXIVM. That he was following orders from Clare. Twice I had worked with him when he had just returned from New York, stating he had met with Clare; alluded to sex; and stated he was following her orders. But, he was also excited about Wisdom Systems as a computer scientist.
I discovered Microsoft vs Harmony Computers & Electronics, where Microsoft sued Harmony in 1994 for selling illegal versions of their software. This relates to what I discovered in my audit of Bergquist, which had yielded Harmony ownership documents.
At the time of my audit, Bergquist was continually and throughout the day checking in with Wisdom Systems about the progress of his assignment.
He had also invited me to an internal leaders meeting, which I said NO.
He pressed, stating that it was important and threatening to withhold my accounting payment. I attended a home in Reno, NV, and the room looked exactly like this image from the Times Union.
In the meeting, it seemed like typical LMWW structure. I was asked if they could film. I stated that I have privacy rights, and refused to give my consent. Even in one-party consent states, it is illegal to record me, per my particpation in ACP, my government participant ID is 3204.
The meeting continued. I think I was illegally recorded.
The participants talked about themselves, and I felt UNCOMFORTABLE the entire time. There was something seriously wrong with these people. I refused to go back. This was 2018. March 2022 when I saw this photograph in the Times Union, I knew NXIVM had relocated due to the lawsuits, and they in a trance-like state, re-branded and re-set up shop, needing to keep their environment looking exactly the same as the original. It was creepy.
The business owners who ran this meeting stated that they exclusively worked in-network; that their revenues came from their members; with the primary offering being out-of-country retreats. I.e. Seminars to program their members. Sex acts were talked about by Bergquist. What they called "Leadership Training", was clearly indoctrination about how to recruit others, linguistics to use for covert abuse, technical programming using tools like java, and other forms of information that suit their explicit agenda.

Next, another disconcerting thing occured Q3 2020.
I traveled to Austin for Apeiron Center (much love).
Relocating to Austin March 2021, a hotel I stayed at, is where I met Bryant Perkins (read my article about his racketeering enterprise), who gave a LMWW speech to one of his clients. Coincidence? Deepak Chopra would say there is no such thing.
I observed and reported Perkins illegal actions, then left.
From my forensics report, I understand the situation with Perkins to be seperate.
The connection, from my outside vantage, has to do with LMWW, and the same or similar tech being used.

It was strange to me as well, that June 2021, one of the self-help members of Bronfman's cult, came to the hotel I was staying at in DC and wanted to talk to me.
He was overweight, unhealthy, uneducated, and he wanted to recruit me to his health system. I said NO.
He pressed, and I made a statement about Apeiron.
That went over his head, and his struggle to compute yielded an interruption in his train of thought; so he stopped trying to enroll me.
(Who would hire an overweight coach selling fitness?)
He wasn't listening to me. I never wanted what he offered. Never asked for it. He was obsessed with his agenda, projecting, selling, failing to listen to my responses.
He wasn't able to resume his programmed speech after falling off the linguistics bandwagon, and so he switched gears and started bragging to me about Java. I asked him what he liked about it. He cited self-help growth in cult-like obsessive ways. He said it made him a better person.
He let it slip that it allowed him to copy websites. He was about to show me what he was working on, when my phone notified me of an incoming attack, so I shut it down, put my phone in a faraday bag. Reported him to the owner. Relocated hotels.

WISDOM SYSTEMS
From my perspective, Wisdom Systems and it's people range from unemployable felons, to high-school drop-outs, to white-collar professionals commiting felony crimes.
It's a system of abuse.
Illegal surveillance. Illegal copying of websites to steal data. Illegal updates. Illegal stealing of people's passcodes and other private information.
It's an army of lost souls who are attracted to the self-help because they have insecure attachment and addiction issues, or because they are felons and can't get hired anywhere else.
This group seems to be unable to think for themselves, and they behave like drones following orders. They are anti-social in their crimes. They like hurting others, because they themselves are hurting.

ETHICS & TRANSPARENCY WORKS
Me? I have the honesty and ethics policy in my contracts for a reason.
I have compliance clauses and transparency agreements for a reason.
When Bergquist was in breach, this allowed me to exit.
My assumption was that me exiting would be the end of knowing him and his odd friends.
Yet, it has turned out to be a continuing series of unfortunate events created by his cult members. I had been frustrated and disheartened by this until recently, when I read that progress had been made with the NXIVM lawsuits; and that the Journalist helped cult members escape.

THE FORUM by LANDMARK WORLDWIDE, NXIVM, WISDOM SYSTEMS
I walked away from LMWW as I saw the red flags in advance, as well as in The Forum. Healthy people let you walk away. Unhealthy people hold on. (Let go instead.)
Wisdom Systems, Julian David Bergquist (name change post crime conviction), are Cyber Criminals and part of the organization that billionaire Clare Bronfman uses to track her NXIVM members, and target whomever her alcoholic paranoia, "spirits", tell her too. (Alcohol is called "spirits" for a reason; the substance contributes to delusional thinking and alcohol induced hallucinations).
She is mentally unwell, psychologically unfit, and a delusional power-freak.

If you are an addict or alcoholic, please get help. Dr. Joan Larson Matthews, who passed, was part of a world renowned clinic - call them. If you are cult member and want out - call a trafficking hotline and report that you are being labor trafficked (if you are being forced to stay and are not being paid; or if you are being underpaid) or report sex abuse, if that is what is happening. Make a report to the FBI. Call your family and ask for help. Getting out of a toxic environment, your life begins to improve, whereas staying in, is more of the same. Join a legitmate non-profit and start volunteering for your local community. Giving back, changes everything. Give back. Serve others.
