They're grave robbing. I saw it happen, when I was a little girl, but I was too young, to understand, any of it; and I also never "knew" them. They are the kind of people, who live in your community, and everyone tells you to ignore, and turn the other way. That's them.
Tonight I filed against a perpetrator, and they have a record. When I included links to their crimes, I saw their friend group, and I knew who they were, without help from databases or my contacts. Now, so does the government.
The cult members, are generally uneducated (but smart), locked into their crimes, focused on profits, and they've been doing this for thirty+ years:
Attend funeral. Look for fresh graves. Time it. Take the body. Then set a new scene, and leave the body where it will be found. A client is paying them for this. A client, is paying them for a death certificate, so they can start over, somewhere else.
This specific cult, they are "selling" "freedom". They've robbed a grave and sold the body to a man or woman who wants a new life.

Two years into a different component of the case, and I'm done with my assignment. I truly hope, that my work, will decrease their fraud, and help to free, their kidnapped & coerced members, who are enslaved. (They're all told, that the only way out, is death - which is a lie. But scary enough, to be effective, enough.)
The cult that started in Mount Hermon, near the Anti-Lebanon mountain range in Syria, Syrian Arab Republic, and created a camp in Mount Hermon, by Felton, California, in the Santa Cruz Mountains, they abduct children for profit; they do religious ceremonies and marry youth to older men (gross); they abuse their women; they preach that death is the only way out. There is no suicide; only murder. They are hoodlums. They are taking advantage of American Freedom, Religious Freedom, and our tax payer dollars with their reliance on welfare and adoption credits. They praise Jihad, are under the umbrella of ISIS, but they are also very much an American Religious Cult. A bunch of uneducated hooligans.
One of them sent me their journal, a haiku of daily life while trafficking. I'll post it later. It's not as sad, as the harsh realities, of every woman and child, they've tortured and hurt. What they're doing, is horrible. Please help me, to get this cult to stop hurting people, and match the victims with their families. Thank you.
