My decision for nature photography, was about me. (Still have to edit and post the photos; it was a breath-taking experience in wonder, amazement, appreciation, for over a year, and I loved that aspect of it.)
My decision to get to the bottom of counterfeit Microsoft & Google technology that is used for fraud, was for work, and also about me, wanting to be resourceful on my own.
THE PART ABOUT EL PASO
In our nation's park, exist some caravans. I saw them, but didn't recognize at first what they were. Then in Texas between Del Rio and Big Bend, there was such a contrast between solitude & beautiful emptiness vs people, that I noticed clearly that something was off. Near El Paso, the caravans, there was something that felt like a car chase to me, and I was more than alarmed, and started filming for safety. There were two white vehicles of the bunch, where one opened the van door, and tossed "loot" to the other vehicle. In broad daylight.
I drove to the local police station. I gave the officers my photos. A detective came out. He told me that one of the cars was registered to Jonathan Hernandez, who is a Felon from San Diego. He is in CalGang, and he is a murderer.
I turned in my data and report(s).
At some point TX-DC, I met a woman, and showed her this picture. She told me about car chases in TX, and an account of a woman who was held-up by a group like this, at gun point. I was able to find the news article which corroborated what she said. I felt grief for the victims, and so grateful that I had remained safe.
I still, was continuing, in my forensics, of the counterfeit technology. (It was originally counterfeit in 1994, and now is "custom". They DO employ illegal Trademark Violations).
THE PART ABOUT KENTUCKY (AND ISIS)
Yesterday, I think, I got it. And I also think, that it's awful, and that they need to be stopped.
In California Education, there was required reading of a memoir, written by a Chinese Anesthesiologist. She had been a little girl in Hong Kong, under Britain Rule, and experienced Communism Take-Over by hooligans of her ethnicity. What she described, were horrific human rights abuses, and the general sense, that the majority of her cultural class, were against the socialist thugs. They robbed her home. Murdered her parents. She had to be raised in a orphanage. Her extended family, suffered various injuries from the uneducated criminal group. They were brainwashed, and fighting an unnecessary war.
Yesterday, I think, I got it. And I also think, that it's awful, and that they need to be stopped.

They hated her family, for the wealth they had worked hard for, earned, and cultivated, throughout centuries. They were the "have-not's". She, and her family, were NOT the contrasting "have's". They were real, honest, hardworking people, who woke up every day, had breakfast, told their family members they loved them, and focused diligently, and repetitively, on both their learning and their work product. They earned income, as their career field, was good, and they helped many people, therefore they realized the rewards of that. They were bright, and shrewd, and saved and invested, properly. They passed on their values and strategies, to their children. They were creating legacy, through hard-work, dedication, and by doing the right thing. This, is the formula, for creating wealth in legacy.
In one paragraph of her tale, she asked her elders, their cultural feelings, about what had happened. They answered: "thirty years is not long enough" [for revenge]. The meaning of this, is that while the family also holds prosocial values in forgiveness, that her family, is far from willing, to forgive the crimes of the Soviet.
I believe, this is fitting, regarding 9-11, and all crimes occurring now, that are futile, and coming from fringe terrorist groups.
This fails to be race. I have friends, from all races. This fails to be religion. I believe in respect, for our worlds core religions, and see value in them, while honoring freedom in choice. This fails to be about country, as there is good in every one.
This is about geography - locations on the planet, geo pockets, where human rights abuses flourish. It seems to be a combination of factors, with locality and the systems within it. (I.e. some locations, are harder to access, and harder to flee.)

If the entire world, is against you, because you are in the wrong, and you hurt people, due to your faith, then what is one way, to build an army? If girls as young as 7 or 8, bear children, in thirty years, you have four generations, additional members, of your Islamic State.
That is one method, that these harrowing terrorists, are utilizing, to further their agenda.
