This is horrible. My heart goes out to Zapata's family. Were charges pressed? Is there any way to prevent this?

My family taught me about brain injury and prevention very young, in CAN, related to safety in sports training & Canadian Royal Purple.

I remember being shocked, that some MD's in San Francisco, knew so little about Brain Injury & the effects, especially amongst athletes. It took me much research to understand, that they were only experts in their specialty, and that Brain Injury Awareness, is still significantly lacking in most populations.
It is devastating that Zapata lost her life.
