While traveling I met a man who told me he was "counter-culture". FBI & Homeland Security state that this term is a label used by terrorist groups. That Terrorist, Perkins, with a college degree, tells his followers NOT to vote, and to further war at home instead. Threat Acting, Riots, more. They believe in notoriety through chaos, destruction, violence, intimidation.
I BELIEVE that humans are generally good, and eusocial. We want what is good for ourselves, and others. OUR VOICES MATTER. Our beautiful democracy gives us freedoms when we're born here, or naturalized. Casting our vote shows support of our country, and the politicians we want to support, as well as the changes that we'd like to see.
Every person matters. Every perspective is okay. Our ballot, shows support for a greater whole, and a belief in our democratic system.
